Tell you what. Looks better than the new Silverado any day. Despite the Chrome overload Denali trim.

Kinja'd!!!

Exactly like this Black Denali 1500

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I like the blacked out Elevation trim as well

Anyone who’s been making fun of BMW’s grille on the X-whatever lately ought to be all over the memes with this one - the grille(s) are about twice the size of the BMW.

I do like that Elevation Trim, GMC trucks always looks so chrome heavy to me.

Also, I like the fact GM uses traditional doors and handles (like their crew cabs) for their extended cab trucks like on that Elevation model.

Bleah - I’m not giving it a pass.  Trucks just keep getting uglier and uglier with every new generation - all of them.

So much better than the Chevy. The DRLs on the new ones are so terrible.

The Custom and Custom Trailboss trims fix that and make the front more tolerable. But if you hate that big lettering on the grille it won’t do anything for you

Yup. Still bad.

Shouldn’t be surprised. Styling is also why the Camaro gets outsold by the Mustang, and the ancient Challenger.

The Elevation should be available with the 6.2.

The new Sierra is definitely better looking than the Silverado, but talk about damning with faint praise.

Interesting I think the extended cab doors on the newer trucks are terrible. I had an 09 ext cab Sierra with the suicide doors and found it much easier getting into the back with no b pillar running down the middle. My 18 is a crew cab because I wanted the Denali

It depends, it’s a tradeoff, each has their pluses and negatives.

I have a fullsize with the clamshell design, I love it because I have a ton of room with them open to put stuff in the truck.

However, I don’t like the fact I need to open the primary doors first to access the rear doors, can also be a issue when parking is tight.

Ya loading stuff in with them open was great. What truck do you have? My favorite thing from that gen was the rear door opened all the way up to be parallel with the bed side. The current f150 and super duty do that as well with the ext cabs

I have a 2015 F150 XLT Supercab. I went with the Scab because I could have a 6.5ft bed and still be short enough to fit in my garage. I can still fit adults in the rear comfortably.

Ideally though, I would have a Screw with the same size bed, but that’s another foot longer.
